Today we repaired a leak in a composition shingle roof. The leak was in a valley where two sections of the roof join. We carefully pulled up the roofing material. Install new felt paper and installed new shingles into the valley to a water tight condition. The roof probably only has 2-3 year of servicable life left in it but this repair will allow the owner to achieve that extra use. We also repalce a leaking plastic roof vent ion a roof in downtown Ridgefield.

We just where called out to repair a roof leak in SE. Portland. The roof was leaking along a roof to wall flashing. We removed the roofing along the wall and found wet roof deck for about 10' out up from the eve. We installed Ice and Water Shield along the wall and installed the metal step flashing and new composition shingles to a water tight condition.
Just in time for this extreme weather we will be dealing with for the next few months.
